A Rava Viera with a dancer's grace and a polite smile, Karuis is more than happy to breeze through the storied fates and lives of those that come across their own path. The bartender typically keeps their appearance well kept; expensive hair products, artful use of makeup, expensive clothes from Ishgard to Thavnair, and a well practiced customer service attitude pull together a visage crafted for the public setting they've found themselves in. Whether that be singing on stage in plays or serving drinks behind a bar counter Karu keeps up a social lifestyle.
Though behind kind mismatched eyes and soft laughter there sits a bit more behind the façade. Karuis carries themselves like a seasoned mercenary with senses far too honed for a simple performer and a tendency to fade into the background without a pins drop to accompany them. This in conjunction with the various burns on their legs, scars lining their arms, and near constantly bandaged hands tells the tale that whatever life they allude to leaving behind hasn't quite left them yet.

"Last Call!": Karuis is mainly employed at The Owl House, an establishment known as a sanctuary to travelers and adventurers alike. Their job there usuaully revolves around serving drinks, helping service staff, and lending an ear to those who wander through the welcoming doors of their home."I love play rehersal!": A relatively new actor to the world of theater though despite this they manage to grab roles within the GreTeal Production Company located in Gridania. They have a tendency to drift towards more darker parts though they have an admiration and passion for all things having to do with the stage."All that glitters...": Their name has been heard around the Golden Saucer by both senior employees and some of the more wealthy clientele that frequent the establishment or make use of its many services. Karuis was a top earning performer in both the more public spheres of the Saucer and at private hosted events. Their impeccable dancing and warm nature towards their co-workers earned them a good name. Though they have left that work behind a few moons ago they have not forgotten those brightly lit halls.

"Going Dark": Karuis was once upon a time a contractor for the Alliance and later the Grand Company of Eorzea. Their main role in this capacity was a 'black ops' operator of sorts, working with a team of like minded and highly skilled individuals to execute various types of missions. These tasks took them across the Star and were mainly aimed against the Garlean Empire, though whether that was the case all the time or not is lost behind sealed lips and inked out words. At most, a few may have seen Karuis operating during the various liberations that took place during the more recent conflicts, mainly Bozja, Doma, and Ala Mhigo."Too lost in the ice": Karuis has an extensive amount of training with the utilization of their own Dragoon stone, though they are by no means a proper Knight's Dragoon or soldier of Ishgard. How they came across such an item and recieved training in the techniques is a question they've seldom answered and combined with their aytpical usage of said stone leaves even more unanswered questions.
